Curriculum & Approach

The training consists of four online sessions, each 2,5 hours long, featuring a mix of lectures, exercises, and teamwork on a real-life case study. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on an individual topic in between the sessions.

Individual & Team Work

In this session, you'll get an overview at what AI can and can't do for systems thinkers.From there, you'll dive straight in the case-study collecting research data and building out variables for the mapping.

- Get to know your team
- Use NotebookLM to collect research data and elicit variables
In this session, you'll step into the role of Kick-Starter, letting AI generate a rough first draft of a system map. Your team will then take that draft apart, challenging and enriching it with your own data and expertise.

Activities
- Generate an initial system map with Miro/Claude, then enrich and critique it as a team.
In this session, you learn how to turn AI into a sparring partner. You'll use Claude and ChatGPT to stress-test your system map and explore leverage points and potential system interventions.
Inputs
- Introduction to the AI role: Critical Thinking Companion & Analyst
Activities
- Start a critical conversation with Claude, collect feedback on the map you've created, and make adaptations
- Explore leverage points and stress-test causal assumptions using Claude and ChatGPT
In this session, your system map finally becomes a story, one that can travel beyond the mapping room and reach people who were never in it. You'll wrap up by writing your own AI manifesto, a personal stance on where AI fits into your work and where it doesn't.
